FlOWER CROWN WORKSHOP

Create a flower crown as unique as you. Join gardener and floral enthusiast Ashlea Kooman of Meadow Farm Florals, for a creative morning out as you work with fresh stems to create a one-of-a-kind flower crown. Bring out your inner Boho, invite your friends, and enjoy good company as you work with your hands to create something beautiful. Go home with a beautiful flower crown to welcome Spring.

INTRO TO BRUSH LETTERING

Bring words to Life. Join us at Maker House Studio for a 2 hour workshop with Gian Lee of ByGianLee Calligraphy. Gain insight into what modern calligraphy is and learn basic techniques to equip you to practice. You’ll also have time for hands-on learning with plenty of one-on-one time. PLUS, you get to go home with your own brush lettering kit and a finished print of your favorite quote!

Your kit will include:

• Gian’s Brush Lettering Worksheets
• Tombow Fudenosuke Calligraphy Pen
• Tombow Dual Brush Pen
• 10 sheets of Dot Pad Paper

This class is designed for beginners and no experience is necessary.

MACRAME PLANT HANGER WORKSHOP

Create a beautiful plant hanger just in time for Spring. We are thrilled to welcome back Kira from Boho Broad as she teaches the ins and outs of Modern Macrame. Kira will demonstrate a variety of her favorite knotting techniques and show you how to create your very own unique macrame plant hanger. She will offer step by step instruction and guidance as you create a fun and unique piece of art for you home.

Supplies included:

• Cotton Macrame Cording
• Wooden Beads
• Copper Chunks
• Wooden Hoop
• Plant (already have a house full of plants? select registration without a plant)

Enjoy a coffee made from our custom roasted Maker House Coffee Co. Beans, or make a selection from our tea bar. All workshop supplies and beverages are included in the workshop fee, and you will take home a finished Plant Hanger with a Plant.

INTRO TO 3D PRINTING

Visualize and generate design. Learn the basics of 3d printing, including SD printing materials, how to prepare a 3D design file for printing, as well as how to properly and safely use the 3D printer to print your own 3D object. Convert three dimensional design into a three dimensional product, while gaining hands on experience with 3D printers. By the end of the workshop (time permitting) you will have printed a personalized keychain or a fidget spinner.

FRESH FLORAL ARRANGING WORKSHOP

Explore the Beautiful World of Flowers. Join gardener and floral enthusiast Ashlea Kooman for a creative morning out as you work with fresh stems to create a one-of-a-kind garden inspired flower arrangement. Invite your friends, and enjoy good company as you work with your hands to create something beautiful. Go home with a garden fresh floral arrangement to welcome Spring.

INTRODUCTION TO WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

TERRARIUM WORKSHOP

In this hands-on workshop, all planting materials and plants will be supplied and instruction will be given to make a custom terrarium. Choose from unusual combinations of air plants, living stones, cacti, and succulents nestled into glassware with sand, gravel, sea glass, moss, and pebbles.
